Release-week changes, with version context

The summaries below cover official announcements reviewed through hotfix 0.9.10. Dates use the announcement’s UTC calendar date; Steam may display a different local day near midnight. Each summary highlights player-relevant changes without copying the full patch text.

Treat a hotfix as a change to a particular version, not a permanent promise about balance. Use the linked database and guide pages for the parts affected. Individual patch pages are not created.

For a returning player, read the affected system before deciding to replace a familiar setup. The recent module changes include automatic-versus-active adjustments, while vehicle changes concern handling at different stages. Captain notes reduce particular drawbacks. These are different reasons a run may feel easier or harder, and they should not be condensed into a single claim that every build was buffed.

The reroll addition is a progression change: collection breadth now has a relationship to extra choices. Artifact-trigger fixes are a different kind of change, concerning whether an existing interaction works as intended. Neither category establishes a new best build. Follow progression for the collection rule and individual records for the specific behavior.

When an old guide and a recent update seem to disagree, identify the precise claim at issue. A corrected interaction can make an old observation obsolete without invalidating the entire guide. Check the relevant version and component, then reassess the recommendation that depended on it. These summaries help locate that work rather than substituting a headline for every current tooltip.

Roadmap and older demo coverage

The launch announcement said an Early Access roadmap would follow. An older 2025 roadmap is historical and is not substituted for a current plan.

The September 8 announcement also retired the old demo. Be cautious with demo build videos: they can explain an idea, but their costs, roster, and balance are not automatically current.
